Recently, Nie Weiguo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shanghai Alumni Association of City University of Hong Kong, and Honorary Chairman Li Feng, accompanied by Zou Ruofan, Ma Jinzhu, Liu Yantong, Xiong Qianqian, and Jiang Lujie, attended the "City University Alumni Shenzhen Dinner" and toasted to the 30th anniversary of their alma mater with President Mei Yanchang of City University of Hong Kong and supervisors and professors at all levels, and alumni representatives from all regions of the country!
Organized by Ms. Xiong Qianqian, a Shanghai Alumni Council member of City University, the alumni of the Shanghai Council went from Shanghai and Shenzhen to Quanzhou, Fujian for a two-day study tour. The first stop was to visit the alumni family business "Fujian QGM Co., Ltd." (Fujian QGM Co., Ltd. was founded in 1979. It is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, manufacturing and sales of unfired brick making machines and block concrete production equipment. It has won national honors such as the National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Manufacturing Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise, the National New Wall Material Equipment Leading Enterprise, the Chinese Building Materials Industry Standard Drafting Unit, and the Chinese Industrial Demonstration Unit).
When the car drove into the park of Fujian QGM Co., Ltd., the first thing that caught our eyes was the national flags of various countries fluttering in the wind in the middle of the office building, indicating that we were about to visit a large-scale multinational private manufacturing enterprise; stepping into the design-rich corporate lobby, Mr. Fu Xinyuan, the general manager of QGM Co., Ltd., shook hands with the staff who worked overtime on the weekend. After a brief greeting, we walked into the corporate exhibition hall on one side of the lobby for a visit.
The carefully arranged pictures, videos, and lighting recorded how Quangong Co., Ltd. started with a few purchased equipment, and after a series of strategic developments such as overseas acquisitions, product iterations, and intelligent transformation, it finally became China's largest integrated brick-making solution operator, leaving a strong and colorful mark on the development of Quanzhou's manufacturing industry.
Afterwards, General Manager Fu Xinyuan led us to visit the company's factory and the block display area after solid waste environmental protection treatment, and explained the various types of equipment and the entire process of solid waste treatment, allowing us to better understand the entire process of standardized brick making, German technology, diversified environmentally friendly finished products and customer service.
The wide factory area is full of brick-making equipment that will be shipped to all parts of the world, brick samples sent by domestic and foreign customers, waste and defective product identification rooms, few workers on site, and a powerful remote management system... All of these powerfully reveal the reasons why Quangong Co., Ltd. has achieved extraordinary achievements in the past 40 years, which echoes the red slogans at the entrance and exit of the factory area that highlight the company's mission, "Devotion, Innovation, Excellence, Dedication" and "Building a Better Life"!
