Paving the China-Africa Cooperation Avenue, QGM Block Machines Support China-Uganda Industrial Park Construction

At the Durban BRIC meeting in South Africa in March 2013, President Xi Jinping andUgandan President Museveni reached a consensus that China and Uganda will jointly develop the China (Guangzhou)-Uganda International Production Capacity Cooperation Industrial Park project. In the past 5 years, the project has become the flag ship project of Uganda's 2040 future plan, and also a key project of China's National Development and Reform Commission's foreign international production capacity cooperation and China-Uganda economic andtrade cooperation.

China(Guangzhou)-Uganda International Production Capacity Cooperation Industrial Parkis located in the Sukulu area of Tororo on the border between Uganda and Kenya.The project has played an active role in promoting economic and trade exchange sand cultural exchanges between China and East African countries, and comprehensively fits the development strategy of “One Belt One Road”, which has effectively promoted the economic development of local society.

Guangzhou Dongsong Energy Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale integrated group enterprise integrating investment and development, coal mining, washing and deep processing, transmitting powder construction, non-ferrous metal mineral development, and shops leasing. In September 2016, it signed an agreement withthe Uganda government at the second “Africa Investment Forum” to build the China(Guangdong)-Uganda International Production Capacity Cooperation Industrial Park.

Since concrete block making machine is a core supporting project of the industrial park, QGM was quickly selected as a supplier of Guangzhou Dongsong Energy GroupCo., Ltd. QGM Group with 65 years experience of block making machine production.Also, QGM is the only one block machine manufacturer in the world with office sand parts ware houses in Uganda. The office was established in 2006, which builtup a deep relationship with local customers. At present, nearly 20 sets of QGM equipment are in operation in Kampala(capital） and Entebbe,covering 90% of the local high-end block factories. From the production areadesign, equipment production, delivery, equipment installation to commissioning production, after-sales maintenance, etc. QGM always adhere to “customer first”as the cooperation concept, and completes the task with quality and quantity, which has been unanimously recognized by Dongsong Group.

On October 23, QGM was invited to participate in the commissioning ceremony of the industrial park. During the ceremony, the high-quality concrete blocks producedby QGM machines(QT10) received high attention from participants. Ugandan President Museveni personally went to the block factory to check the operation status of the equipment and highly praised the quality of the blocks.Ambassador Mr. Zheng of China in Uganda and guests from Kenya, South Africa and Malawi also visited the factory, and CCTV TV station made a special report on the block factory.

This project is another demonstration project of QGM support “One Belt One Road”policy in Africa after the Kenyan Inner Mongolia Railway. QGM will not forget the initial heart and move forward to show the world the strength of Chinese block making machine.
