In order to prevent the mold parts from breaking suddenly during production, the mold must have high strength and toughness. Carbon content and grain size are the standards for considering the strength and toughness of the material.


The unburned brick making machine production line is a cyclic process. The mold often leads to fatigue fracture under the long-term action of cyclic stress. It can be divided into small energy multiple impact fatigue fracture, tensile fatigue fracture, contact fatigue fracture and bending fatigue fracture. The fatigue fracture performance of the mold mainly depends on its strength, toughness, hardness, and the content of inclusions in the material.


When the working temperature of the mold is high, the hardness and strength will decrease, resulting in early wear of the mold or plastic deformation and failure. Therefore, the mold material should have high high temperature resistance to ensure that the mold has high hardness and strength at the working temperature.


Some molds are in a state of repeated heating and cooling during the working process, which makes the surface of the cavity tensile and pressure variable stress, causing surface cracking and peeling, increasing friction, hindering plastic deformation, and reducing dimensional accuracy, thus causing mold failure. Hot and cold fatigue is one of the main forms of mold failure. This type of mold should have high resistance to hot and cold fatigue.

Before each production run, check that each part is installed normally and there is no looseness in each component. Clean the material in the mold after production.
